Are those mountains in the background? This is such a cool shot. I feel like I am looking across a great ravine.

You are, in fact, looking across a great ravine — that’s my “backyard.” 🙂

We’re getting rain, wind and sub-freezing temps — but no snow! My mom is in Minnesota (my home state) and she’s getting plenty of snow…which is frustrating her. She wants spring!

I’m watching the Pirates play the Twins on TV in blizzard-like conditions…in Pittsburgh. They’re calling for 5-8 inches of snow for us in Philly on Saturday. And yet, like you we have trees and plants trying to rev up and start their spring. Crazy. Looks like one more week of winter and then things should start to…spring! As for your mom, I did hear they got a whole bunch of snow there today…and yet the Twins are still planning on playing their home opener tomorrow!
