Well, I was trying to get a picture to show how pretty my Mimi is. She looked simply lovely. I think she’s still awfully pretty in this shot, and I rarely catch her off guard. By the way, I looked up “off guard” to see if it’s hyphenated or not and got a bit confused. Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t. So I guess you could say we’re both off guard.

Augh, the fireworks. I live in an apartment, and it seemed all my neighbors tried to outdo each other.

you are not alone in your dislike of fireworks. I’m in apartment as well but that doesn’t protect one from the noise. They area so bad for animals – domestic and wild – and bad for the environment. I really don’t understand why people do them

It’s so frustrating. I see her looking sweet or pretty or whatever, and as soon as I approach her, she moves. Same with Walter. That’s why I have so many pictures of him sleeping!
