Mimi Hiding–Sort Of

This photo popped up in my phone this past week. It’s from three years ago and I just love it. It’s hard to get photos of Mimi when she’s looking as sweet as I know she can be, and this is one of them. I think this was a favorite hiding spot of hers, until I rearranged the room and she found another (that I’m not privy to–I don’t know where she goes when she hides).

So forgive the nostalgia. I’m glad the photos app on my phone recycles pictures, otherwise, I don’t know how I’d access all of them. I save what I remember to save, but there are always some that slip through.

Love is a two-way street

    1. I don’t know how she feels about my camera (well, phone), so maybe she did feel caught! Or just caught because I found her? I don’t know 😊. But thanks for the compliment! We both appreciate it.

  1. Oh, Mimi, cozy in your little hideaway box! Love the nostalgia. Always nice to read your posts, Belinda. And always sweet to see Walter and Mimi. Hope you are having a cozy Saturday. We are getting a break from the heat here today on the Southwest Florida coast and getting some much needed rain☔

  2. Nobody boxes Mimi in…she can manage that all by herself. I sometimes scroll through photos on my phone and come across several I forgot I had even taken. That is more a result of having too many in the first place, and perhaps one day I will whittle them down…but there’s a reason why I kept them in the first place!

    1. I come across pictures I’ve forgotten I’ve taken and scramble to save them on a flash drive. I sometimes wonder about those who take all kinds of pictures of their kids and then can’t find them. Your phone only has so much memory. Where do you go to find a favorite photo? I’m probably showing my age just asking the question, but I had co-workers who lost all kinds of photos of their kids.

      1. It isn’t a perfect science by any means, but the iPhone allows you to search with keywords if the phone is clever enough to figure out the photo should be in that category. Like, if I want to see what photos of Christmas or snow I have and enter them as keywords, those photos should all come up. Believe me, it is far from perfect, but it helps. You can also search by date, and of course you can always make separate albums or folders for various subjects/people/pets, etc. The photo organization tools are there, but I just tend to scroll through and use that keyword function.

    1. Thank you! I think so, too. Sorry it took me a bit to respond to your post. Somehow it ended up in my spam folder. I have no idea why. How many times have you commented on my blog and of course I’ve never reported it as spam? Oh well.
