It felt good. I think most of the people who follow my blog (well, the Americans anyway) probably have voted or will vote, but if you’re wavering, I encourage you to stop by your local polling place and cast your ballot. Your vote matters.

Well done! I just got my absentee ballot in the mail and will drop it off soon (we have a lot of ballot questions in MA I need to read about first…) Let’s all vote in the next 12 days — and prepare ourselves to participate in massive marches/strikes if anyone tries any more shenanigans once the votes are counted.

I just heard today that the USPS is saying get your absentee ballots in as soon as possible. They aren’t guaranteeing delivery, although they didn’t give a specific date by which you should send the ballots in.

We have drop boxes in front of our town hall which I will use rather than trust that the dear (but increasingly politically turbulent) US postal service. I DO still trust them with political postcards and thank you cards and other lower-priority deliveries…

I voted too. I went on Tuesday but the line was so long. Went back Wednesday morning at 8:45 and took less than 30 minutes.

Yeah, I deliberately waited because I thought the lines might be long. I was in and out in short order today. I encourage anybody who wants to do early voting to get out soon!

Good for you, Belinda! I feel the same way!

Very good, Belinda! We did vote-by-mail here in Florida maybe two weeks ago. Like you mentioned… it felt good 🙂
Have a good Friday and give Mimi and Walter scritches for me!
